Sew a Patchwork Stocking
with Rose Ponizil + Sadye Harvey
$250 - 2 part series
Join us for a cozy and festive sewing series to make a patchwork holiday stocking! In the first session, students will learn some basic patchwork techniques like making a "log cabin" block and sewing checkers (the fast and easy way!). Students will explore color cominations and pattern to create a completely unique design.
The following week, we will use these patchwork blocks to sew a fully lined stocking. Students will learn about cutting a pattern, sewing a lining, finishing an edge with binding, and how to create a hanging loop.
Students will leave with an completed stocking, a new love of sewing, and a stocking pattern to use for future creations.
All materials included, but feel free to bring any fabric pieces or scraps that you might have.
Good for new and experienced sewists alike - no experience needed.
