Blueprints of Nature: A Cyanotype + Tea Blending Workshop

With Allie Brown

$111

Join Herbalist + Multidisciplinary Healer Allie Brown, for an immersive Cyanotype + Herbal Tea Blending workshop. Participants will leave with a Cyanotype print on both watercolor paper and fabric to be used as a scarf or bandana, and an herbal tea infusion blend.

Allie will provide locally foraged plants and flowers from Tongva Land to Cynaotype. Bring personal objects, if you would like to further personalize your print (ie jewelry, crystals, photo negatives etc).

Cyanotype is an early monochromatic photographic process that uses photosensitive iron salts to create prints with a vibrant and distinctive Prussian blue color. The process involves exposing coated paper or canvas to sunlight, and then developing the image in water. Enhance your creativity by learning about this cameraless photographic process.

The deep blue hues produced symbolize themes of intuition, depth, expression, and transformation. Next, we will craft an Herbal Tea Infusion to support the body + nervous system during the summer season. Allie will also guide us in a short meditation with sound healing instruments for grounding + stillness.

Herbal Tea Infusions will be served.

Led by Multidisciplinary Healing Artist, Allie Brown.
Allie is an Herbalist, Sound & Meditation Guide & Reiki Practitioner
