Ikebana & Tea – A Sunday Morning of Quiet Beauty

With Nana of Nana’s Gathering

$98

Join us for a peaceful Sunday morning with seasonal ikebana and a touch of Japanese tea ritual.

We’ll begin with a 30-minute matcha tea demonstration, allowing the body and mind to slow down.

Then, through ikebana flower arranging, we’ll connect with the gentle rhythm of the season and explore nature as a form of self-reflection. Focusing on creating balance and harmony between nature and human presence. You'll learn to create minimalistic floral compositions that reflect the simplicity and tranquility.

Throughout the workshop, we will practice mindfulness as we arrange flowers, allowing the process to bring us into a state of inner calm and reflection. Whether you're a beginner or experienced in floral design, this class encourages you to connect with nature through the beauty of flowers.  Students will learn about the symbolism and history behind Ikebana flower arrangements and incorporate natural materials like branches and leaves to create organic, artistic compositions.
