Weave a Picnic Basket
With Sadye Harvey of Little Green Art Studio
$120
Manifest that sunny, wildflower speckled meadow in this woven picnic basket workshop! In this class, we will use traditional basket weaving techniques to build a stunning and functional picnic basket, complete with a swinging oak handle for easy carrying. Learn to measure reed, construct a 3-dimensional shape, weave in the round and splice your ends, lash the rim, and attach handles. Trade favorite snack ideas with your classmates while you indulge in the mediative weaving process. This basket is the ideal companion for the beach, a concert in the park, a road trip - anywhere you might find yourself craving a perfectly appointed picnic.
Beginner friendly. All materials included.
As this is a long class, we encourage you to bring snacks/lunch. Food can be ordered to the studio as well.
